Malarky's Irish Pub
We are open seven days a week, from 7:30 am to 2 am, and are open on all holidays. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to all ages. We serve alcoholic beverages throughout the day to all adults with valid identification, but after dinner hours we must ask that all patrons under 21 years of age leave the building.
Since 1977...
Malarky's was founded in 1977 by Bill Hamilton, owner of the Cannery restaurant. He owned and operated the pub until Spring of 2010, when he decided to retire. He sold the business to a local restaurateur who has been working hard to restore Malarky's to its original luster - updating the areas that needed modernization while simultaneously preserving its historic atmosphere. Upgrades to the restrooms, kitchen, and decor as well as nearly doubling the number of flat panel HD TVs and installing a new audio system are just a few highlights of the improvements made to the restaurant. Dining & Nightlife
Malarky's is open from 7:30 am daily and serves a full breakfast menu and hot fresh brewed coffee. Weekend brunch specials are available, along with free Wi-Fi for you to catch up on your morning news and emails if you choose to bring a laptop or mobile device in.
We serve a full lunch and dinner menu, with weeknight specials and Newport Beach classics, such as our famous Tuesday Prime Rib Dinner, still only $11. Some new additions to our revised menu is our gourmet hamburger menu, signature chicken sandwich menu, and prime rib sandwich menu. We have created a variety of tasty combination plates, made with fresh ingredients and served with your choice of side: french fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings or tater tots. We also have a Happy Hour food menu, serving great deals on appetizers from 2pm-6pm, as well as happy hour drink specials from 7:30am-6pm, Monday-Friday for both menus.
